Hi, we’re Emily and Xavier, your Head Girl and Head Boy for 2025!

We’re so excited to welcome you all back for what we’re sure will be a brilliant year. We look forward to bringing the students and community closer together and further improving our connection with St Thomas More Parish.

We’d like to take a moment to thank all parents, families and guardians for their ongoing support as we approach a brand new year. Your dedication to the College and its mission has not gone unnoticed.

On behalf of all the students, we’d like to thank all the staff for all the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes to prepare for every lesson, every event and every day at school. 

We’d like to especially welcome all new students, families and staff joining Av�԰�. We hope you will all feel comfortable and at home in our school community.

To our brand new Kindergarten cohort, welcome to the beginning of your learning journey! We as a community hope to help foster your development and make your days at Av�԰� Christi something to remember and cherish for a lifetime.

To the Class of 2030, our Year 7 cohort, we know beginning high school can be challenging and daunting but know that we all have your backs during all the ups and downs of this new chapter in your life. Try new things, make new friends, and most importantly, have fun!

As we begin this new academic year, we’d like to take a moment to recognise the Class of 2024. Thank you for being such a crucial part of the Av�԰� community and for leaving a legacy that we hope to carry on. Congratulations on beginning this new era in your lives, and on behalf of the whole community, we wish you all the best. We know you will all do amazing things and we look forward to hearing all the success stories in years to come.

To our very own Class of 2025, we’ve finally made it; our final year. It’s been a long journey to get here, and what a journey it’s been. We know that this year will be full of stresses, worries and jam packed schedules, but we hope you remember to take time and enjoy yourself amongst all the chaos of  Year 12. We have three terms left. Three terms left of hitting snooze on our alarms. Three terms left of all the last minute studying. Three terms left of seeing each other every day. We hope you all take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way this year; from our last first day all the way to the cathedral. This year has so much in store for us, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing memories we’ll make.

To the rest of the student body, we can’t wait to share an amazing year with all of you. We hope that you will step out of your comfort zones and live out our College values of Courage, Commitment and Compassion as you try new things and make the most of the opportunities that our wonderful school has to offer! With our College Vision of “Outstanding for Others”, we hope that this year will be filled with fond memories and exciting experiences.

Our goal for 2025 is to focus on the idea of communication. We aim to improve the connection between the four pillars that are the foundation of our College: Catholic Identity and Mission, Community, Learning and Stewardship. On behalf of the 2025 Prefect Team, we’re very excited to introduce lots of brand new initiatives to the College, so we hope this year will be a year to remember.

We are so excited for the upcoming year and can’t wait to leave our mark on our wonderful K-12 College!
